Barbara was born on January 4, 1936, in Coldwater, Michigan.
She was an avid Detroit Tiger’s Fan, she loved watching birds, and enjoyed canning, gardening, and cooking.
Surviving are three sons, Robert Hassett of Fremont, Indiana, Chris Hassett of Cincinnati, Ohio, and David Hassett of Auburn, Indiana, twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David D. Hassett, two daughters, Dawn Morrill, and Beverly Manning, and two brothers, Willis and Cy Hills.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, November 16, 2018 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.
Visitation hours will be held prior to the services on Friday from 11 am until 1 pm at Beams Funeral Home.
Interment will follow services at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
