A lovely lady in all ways, Martha will be sorely missed by those who knew her best.She was a gracious hostess, a marvelous cook, a great conversationalist, and loved having a good time and enjoying new experiences. We'll miss her unique charms and witty ways.Thanks for the memories dear Martha.

I am saddened for the family of Marha.Moon!  Never met her but heard wonderful stories from my sister Paula, who couldn't say but the nicest compliments about Martha.  So sorry for your loss Jim Buck

I can't imagine what my life would be like if it weren't for Martha.  We met in the Geography Dept at UC Berkeley and became fast friends.  When she left UCB, she lured me away to Bookpeople, where I met my future husband and many life-long friends.  Martha and Doug took Ritch and I out for Ritch's 21st birthday (he's now 63!), and we were among the lucky ones to enjoy some of Martha's legendary 8-hour french-inspired meals!   I still have some of her lovely hand-written recipes that she shared with me.  We reconnected in recent years and visited Martha and stayed with her and enjoyed meals together.  I am so shocked that she is no longer with us.  I know how much she was looking forward to her next cruise, and how much she enjoyed them.  We will certainly miss her very much.  Thank you to James, Amber and anyone else who lovingly cared for Martha.  Margie & Ritch Foster
