Maria Marquez, age 64, passed away suddenly and was called home to be with the Lord on September 22nd, 2015. Maria is survived by here parents, Josefina and Clemente Mejia; daughter Diana Marquez; son, Raymond Marquez Jr, Daughter in law Stacy Marquez; Siblings, Mary, Janie, Sophia, Jesse; Grandchildren, Shayla, Raymond III , Alyssa, Brianna, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth (Kenny) Lange; Brothers Louie and Clemente; and Sister, Amelia. Maria was born on December 3rd, 1950. She was a homemaker, spent most of her life in Hayward, Castro Valley and the last few months in Georgia with family. She was a very thoughtful, kind, caring, generous and had a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all her loved ones. A funeral service is scheduled for 9:00 am on September 29th, 2015 , at San Leandro Funeral Home. Burial 11:00 am, at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, with reception to follow from 1-4 pm at San Leandro Funeral Home.
