Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, James Duncan McDiarmid, son Daniel Fraser McDiarmid, grandson Paul Daniel McLaughlin, sisters Jessie Daly, Sadie Ferrier, and brothers John, Frank, and Henry Forbes.
Margaret was the lov¬ing mother of James (Alice) McDiarmid, Jeanette (Joseph) McLaughlin, Margaret (James) Lockhart, and daughter-in-law Rosemary McDiarmid. Beloved sister of Arthur Forbes, Tommy Forbes and Jimmy Forbes of Scotland. Margaret also leaves behind eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews in Scotland and Florida.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Amberwood Gardens of San Jose, for their wonderful care and love to our mother.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 @ 6pm at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539.
