Manh Van Le passed away peacefully in the company of loved ones on July 10, 2013 at home in Milpitas, CA after a 2 year battle with cancer. Manh is survived by his mother, Ha Nguyen, his wife, Mai Le, his daughter, Ngan Le, and his two sons, Quy Le and Steven Le, his brother, Chinh Le, and his sisters, Bich Le and Thuy Le. He was 70.
He was a humble man who devoted himself to his family and committed himself to helping others. In Vietnam he was a teacher, and after immigrating to the United States during the Vietnam War, he worked as mechanical engineer at FMC while pursuing his master’s degree at the University of Kentucky. He finished his engineering career as a dedicated employee of Northrop Grumman where he worked over 25 years as a mechanical engineer.
Manh loved to play tennis, rarely missing a Sunday to relax and play on the local courts with his closest friends. He also loved to travel, especially to Hawaii where he enjoyed his last vacation. But, more than anything, he loved his family and worked very hard to provide for them.
Manh was known for his charisma and was often invited to be the master of ceremonies for weddings, where he could capture a room with his words. He was a good and altruistic man who loved to care for the well being of others. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
