Diana Sue Peterson

Diana Sue Peterson peacefully entered heaven on May 24, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanne and Clyde Blakely. Diana is survived by her beloved family: husband Paul, daughter Tina and grandchildren Darian, Hailey, Jaiden, and Audrina; son David and grandchildren David and Cara; daughter Karen (Jaime) and granddaughters Kaelyn, Alexis, and Bella; and extended family and friends.

Diana’s joyful spirit and love of life impacted everybody she met. She was genuinely interested in each person she met and treated them as dear friends, forming the basis for lasting friendships.

Diana had an inner strength and love of life that enabled her to overcome the greatest obstacles. She knew how to find the joy in every day, no matter how difficult the struggle.

Her contagious laugh, strong spirit, and continual optimism will be the legacy that lives on in our hearts.

She is dearly loved and greatly missed.

Diana was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. She faced the battle of treatment with great strength. Through her struggle, she found a way to support others through Breast Cancer Connections.

It was Diana’s wish that donations be made to Breast Cancer Connections in lieu of flowers.
