Darren Ray Wright son of Dianah Wright-Webb, Gregory Webb (Donnie Ray Wright). Was born in San Jose, California on September 8,1984. Placing his eternal hope in Jesus Christ Darren attended Beebe Memorial Cathedral in Oakland, California. He Received his Latter education at Mission Hope day program in Fremont, California.
Darren resided at Rainbow Bright facility in Union City where he lived since 2009, where he was cared for and loved by Noel Gamos, Edcell Arceta, Rosita Viray, Rojeldan Camba. We were assured Darren was happy living there from the way he escorted us to the door by pulling us out of our seats and pushing out.
Darren had a heart as big as the sun always happy in laughter he’d give you a smile as wide as the heavens Darren loved to have his head rubbed and going on walks around Lake Merritt. The only two words Darren spoke were Dada to his Father Greg and Eat and he loved his mother's famous spaghetti, he was very territorial and enjoyed his personal space.
Darren departed this life on August 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Maude Helen Blakely and Mary Newsome,grandfather Charles Webb Sr. His aunts Barbara Jean Blakely and Dr. Delores Fortenberry. His great grandfather Authur Scott(2013) and his great uncle James Scott(2013).
He leaves to cherish his great memories six brothers: Donnie Kelly, Dramont, Daniel and Duvon Wright, Jabari Howard, and Gregory Webb Jr., two sisters: Patrice Wright and Latrena Wright, grandmother: Margaret Coleman grandfather: Julius Scott, nieces: Jaimarie Wright and Jordan Webb, nephews: Izeyah, Daniel Jr, and Zacharia Wright, sisters-in-law: Ikesha Barton and Kezsanae Cooper and loving friend Ernest Branscomb and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
