On the 9th of January 1961 at 2:35 PM during the twelve-monthly feast of Black Nazarene in Quiapo District, Philippines, Carlo Nazareno Rosales Leynes came to this world at this distinctive moment and born to late Lorenzo M. Leynes and Carolina M. Rosales. Born at the Manila Doctors Hospital, Philippines. Carlo was the 6th child of 7 offsprings.
Carlo received his degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Manila Doctors College, Philippines on the 29th of March 1982. He was officially registered and entitled to practice as registered nurse by the Republic of Philippines Board of Nursing on the 30th of August 1982. During his college years, Carlo was the Class 82-2 Vice President in 1979 and Class 82 Sergeant-at-Arms from 1980-81. He successfully fulfilled the requirements for Citizen Military Training and a certificate was awarded to him on the 31st of August 1981 at Adamson University, Philippines. Carlo was an active member of the college choir. Fully gifted with a modulated voice and very pleasant to listen to.
For over 3 decades, Carlo provided direct patient care and assistance at Santa Clara Valley Medical Hospital in San Jose, CA. Prior to that, he also carried out a variety of routine and complex patient care services at Agnews in Santa Clara, CA.
Carlo was most known for his forthrightness, diligence, determination, high-spirit, and confidence. He was always filled with vigor and enthusiasm. He often lighted up the room with his jokes. Carlo had extreme love for history; a complete history buff. Moreover, he was a geography devotee. He independently studied the countries, its capitals, flags, public affairs, and population. He was well-versed in the biblical scriptures. Carlo remarkably read the Holy Bible front to back over a hundred times and prayed without ceasing during his lifetime.
Carlo’s passing was a real tragedy. His presence may be gone, but his memory shall always remain in our hearts. Carlo is survived by his sisters and brothers, Baby, Jun, Boyette, Joy, and Lala; 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 7 grand nieces, 5 grand nephews, cousins, and friends.
