Barbara Ruth Culverwell (Chubbuck-Barokas) age 88, passed peacefully at her home in San Andreas, CA on October 16, 2021. She is survived by her long-time partner Jim Smith, four daughters: Joanne Kathleen DeAngelo, Monalisa DiAngelo, Tiana Pegoda Fogarty and Geralda Lane. 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Her step-brothers & step-sister Benny Estoesta, Pete & Nellie Baltazar and her god-daughter Marion Evangelista-Fojas.
She walked in beauty and filled every room with her untamable presence. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held February 25, 2022, 2 pm at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539.
