He leaves behind his wife of almost 25 years, Winnie Fajardo, and their three children--Katherine, Arthur, and Sarah Fajardo.
He was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, as the seventh son amongst eight children. In his early years, he helped out in their family store, and went onto college at the Mapua Institute of Technology and achieved his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. From there, he worked as an engineer at the Stanford Semiconductor Company in Manila, Philippines.
He migrated to the United States in mid 1970s, starting out as a regional manager for Motel 6, where he got the opportunity to travel various states. He then moved on to pursue engineering jobs throughout the 1980s to 1990s. He worked for companies such as AMI and VLSI, which gave him many opportunities to travel to different countries such as Singapore, Thailand, England, Japan, and many more. He even had the opportunity to meet Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak during Apple's earliest days.
In the mid 1980s, he first met his future wife, Winnie, through her uncle. He married her on July 21, 1990, and had three beautiful children. He was a loving father and husband, and he loved to spend time with his family by taking them on day trips. He loved watching old western movies, as well as listening and dancing to classic oldies music. He was a devoted Christian and faithful to his church, Liberty Baptist Church, for 23 years.
