Our beloved Dad passed away peacefully in his home on March 4, 2024 at the age of 92. Preceded in death by his loving wife Madeline and son Michael. He is survived by his children Emily (Bill), Steven, David (Lorraine), Cindy (Mike), Carole, Laurie (Edwin), Jeanne, Marlene (Primo), Kristine, Richard (Claudine), many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was born in Hanapepe, on the island of Kauai on December 26,1931. He married the love of his life in May of 1956 and moved her to California to begin their new life together. They eventually settled in the town of Milpitas. Our Dad was a very humble man, always putting his family before himself. He enjoyed his trips to the casino, spending hours in front of the Keno machine. His famous line was, “One more numba!” In grieving the loss of our Dad, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited with our Mom.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Church, Milpitas. All friends and family are welcome.
