Teran Maurice Collins Jr.

Teran Maurice Collins Jr., 26, of Beaverdam in Hanover County transitioned unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond. He was born on Sep. 14, 1997, in Fairfax, Virginia, the son of Therese and Teran Collins. Teran was a good son, a loving uncle, devoted friend to anyone he met, confidant, and he gave and loved unconditionally. He was best known for his contagious smile, teddy bear hugs, pure heart, and religiously streaming on his PC while screaming with his boys. Anytime you would ask him to do something he’d say “I gotcha or sure can”. He will truly be missed by many. Survivors include both parents Therese and Teran Collins; twin sister Kanani Collins; three brothers, Damon Collins, Michael Springer, and Steven Springer Jr. His paternal grandparents Sheryl Collins and Thurman Best. He was preceded in death by his sister Courtney Collins; maternal grandparents Eugene and Lucy Heidenthal. The family will receive friends for Teran on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 11am to 3pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, VA.
