Suzanne Brown, beloved wife and mother, succumbed to illness and died Friday morning 24 July 2020 at the age of 71. She is survived by her husband Bruce, her son Michael and his wife and two children, and her sister Laurie and her husband and child. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Michelle, her brother, Gary, and her parents.
Suzanne spent her entire career in Federal service at the IRS. She loved books and the theater. She liked learning about ways to improve her body and spirit. She liked wine and how it could elevate a good meal. She loved to travel and she was able to visit several European countries. In recent years, she took up knitting and crochet and produced some very nice and intricate shawls, blankets, and hats that will continue to comfort those she loved. She was an animal lover of both cats and dogs and rescued countless animals as well as supported several animal charities. Suzanne especially loved her grandchildren and regretted being unable to spend more time with them recently due to illness.
She was fiercely passionate about social justice, politics, the environment, and everything she did was out of love and a desire for all she encountered- family, friends, or animals- to have the best of everything. We love you, Suzanne. May you be free and at peace.
