Steve was born on March 7, 1957, to Harold and Roberta Mckay in Beckley, West Virginia.
He will always be remembered for caring deeply about the people in his life. He loved spending time with family and close friends and was one call away if anyone needed him. Steve worked in the trade industry from skilled fabrication, mechanics, and landscaping for all his adult life.
He was dedicated to providing for his family. A true father, husband, brother, and friend. Steve will be loved and missed by the people in his life.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Mckay; son, Johnathon Mckay; brother, Eugene Harold Mckay II; sister, Elizabeth Nichols; aunt, Kitty Thompson.
