Paula M. Smith, 56, of Stafford passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital. Her husband Tommy and family were her life. She was a devoted caretaker to all her animals. As a kid it was her quest to help stray animals whenever she could. There were no strangers in her life.
She is also survived by her mother, Edna Leacock of Spotsylvania; father, James W. Leacock of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Wanda Brooks of Spotsylvania and Sara Cisneros of Texas; sister-in-law, Vivian Hendley of Cape Coral, FL; five nephews, Shane Brooks, Lane Brooks, Corey Cisneros, Joshua Cisneros, and Stuart Hendley; one niece, Denise Jackson; and one great niece Bailey Brooks.
All services will be private.
