She was born on March 5, 1925 in Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Gabriel Colon and Josefina Morales. She loved interacting with customers while working as a sales clerk at Corky’s Military and Police Surplus Store in Fredericksburg before retiring. A larger than life personality, always smiling, Paula pursued every endeavor with her smile and laugh. Love is the value she showered on many.
Her husband, James Shea preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, James O. Kersey of Fredericksburg, VA; her daughter, Edith K. Devlin and husband Arthur Myers, Jr of Powhatan, VA; two grandchildren, Meghan D. Remige and husband Kevin of Richmond, VA and Michael G. Devlin of Los Angeles, CA; two great granddaughters, Mallory and Thea Remige.
A Memorial Mass to be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 1:30pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, 100 Stafford Avenue, Fredericksburg, VA.
