She is survived by her son, Melvin “Robbie” Brown (Crystal); her granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Dumire; her great granddaughter, Gabbie; and her sisters, Caro Lee Brooks and Gay Kulp.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Lucy Johnson; and her brother, Herbert Marshall Johnson.
She enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel, cheering for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with her family and friends and reminiscing of her travels throughout the years.
NJ had a pet bird named, Baby Bird that she taught many tricks and he loved her as much as she loved him. She loved talking about all of the adventures with her sons and missed her son, Kevin terribly.
A visitation for Ms. Brown will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Cemetery. Travelers Rest Baptist Church
