Mavis Elaine Sullivan, age 91, of King George, VA formerly of Lively, VA passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born on March 9, 1930 in Charles City, Iowa the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel (Howe) Jung. She was a homemaker and sold Avon products while raising her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles John Sullivan; two sons, Michael J. Sullivan and Daniel C. Sullivan.
Survivors include her two children, Steve M. Sullivan and wife Cindy of King George, VA and Kathryn Elaine Sullivan of Spotsylvania, VA; daughter-in-law, Dora Sullivan of Cape Charles, VA; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sullivan will be placed at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
