Joseph Robert Abbate

Joe is survived by his grandparents, John and Rheanell Day of King George, parents Suzanne Abbate of King George and Joseph Abbate of Arlington; two daughters, Alyssa, age 10, and Emma Abbate, age 3; his fiancée, Kristin L Baker; a sister, Kalyn Abbate Medina of Arlington; aunts and uncles in North Carolina, King George, and Alexandria and Woodbridge and many cousins.

Joe was born on Dec. 3, 1983. He was a graduate of King George High School, class of 2000, and Advanced Technical Institute, Virginia Beach.

Joe was a loving person and a loyal trusted friend. He loved life and most of all loved his children and his fiancée.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway.
