John Ortman, 68, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital. John loved fishing and working on automobiles. He is survived by his only son, John Joseph Ortman of Savannah, Ga.; his remaining brother and sisters, Ann and Frank Hiller, Pinky and Ed Hiller, Richard and Marion Ortman and Raymond Ortman; and their children whom he loved so much, Linda, Mary, Stacey, Andy, Jeff, Steven, Micky, Margy, Richard “Bug” Jr., and Cathy. John loved all the kids in the family, including the children of his nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his two close friends, Rick Lee Hughes and donna Gallahan. Services will be private.
