He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; daughters, Beth Miller and husband, John of San Jose, CA, Laura Harkins of Portland, OR, Linda Bassani of Los Angeles, CA, and Victoria McAllister of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Christopher McAllister, and Anne and Madeline Miller; and brother, Donald Harkins of Dadeville, AL.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm, with interment in the church memorial garden following the service.
