He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; daughter, Paula Mitchell; mother, Ruth Johnson; two grandchildren, Crystal Adkins and Rebecca Harding; sister, Betty Renfrew; two brothers, Steven Johnson and Donnie Mockabe; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Johnson and brother Michael Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Salem Baptist Church at 10:00 am. Internment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
