Harold Edison Swim

He was born January 19, 1944 to Stella Cooper in Bluefield, West Virginia.

Harold was a mechanic, body, fender and paint man by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed helping everyone in his community.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norde and Stella Cooper and his three brothers, Paul, Jerry and Ted Mitchem.

Harold is survived by his children, Billy Swim (Sandi), Marty Swim, Barbara Teter, Deborah Boroomand (Mohammad), Bobby Swim, and Rebecca Clark; and his special son in law, Scott Teter.

He also leaves to cherish his memory his fourteen grandchildren, Leland Swim, April Teter, Michael Teter (Shannon), Michael Farmer, Cheyenne Farmer, Christopher Boroomand, Priscilla Boroomand, Patricia Brown (Shawn), Pamella Sloan (Chris), Brandon Swim, Britney Clark, Bradley Clark, Kimberley Clark and Roger Clark.

Harold will also be greatly missed by his sixteen great grandchildren; his sister, Joann Dillon and; his two brothers, Everett Mitchem and Danny Wright (Charlotte); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm -1:00pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with Harold’s interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
