He was born on February 8, 1964 in Arkansas to the late Dale Eugene Callaway and Cleda Frances Sharrer.

Gene lived life on his own terms, loved playing the bass guitar, listening to music and having a good time. He will be missed by all who loved him!
Predeceased by his parents and one brother: Melvin Jackson.
Survivors include one brother: Rex Andrew Callaway and wife Cindy; one nephew: Dylan Callaway and one niece: Brooke Callaway.
Services will be held at a later date.
