Barbara Harkins

Barbara H. Harkins, age 91, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1932 in Washington DC the daughter of the late Carl and Mattie (Martin) Haas. Her loving husband, John J. Harkins, preceded her in death. Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Ann Bassani of Hendersonville, TN and Victoria Lee McAllister of Norfolk, VA; Step-daughters, Beth Miller of San Jose, CA and Laura Harkins of Portland OR; three grandchildren, Christopher McAllister, Anne and Madeline Miller; brother-in-law, Donald Harkins of Auburn, AL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 825 College Ave, Fredericksburg, VA with Rev. Cynthia McKenna officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 825 College Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
