Violet Jeanette Hudson

Violet Jeanette Hudson, age 83, of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born on February 12, 1941, in Whitley County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Frank and Lena Perkins. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Harold, Billy Ray, Arnold, Carl, Hubert and James Perkins.

Violet is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jerry C. Hudson; her son, Jerry James Hudson; her two daughters, Rita Ann (Carl) Rose, Debra Rigmaiden; 6 grandsons, Jason Collier, Todd (Ashley) Collier, Cameron (Mashawn) Rigmaiden, Landon Rigmaiden, Austin Hudson, Coleman Hudson; great-grandchildren, Kali Leanne, Kash and Avery Violet Collier, Raegan and Jaxson Rigmaiden and a great-great granddaughter, Presley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street with Pastor Pete Creamer officiating. Interment will follow in Springboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
