

Timothy Lee Tomilson, age 56, of Monroe, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born August 22, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of Chester Tomilson, Jr. and Anna Katherine Whitt Tomilson. Mr. Tomilson was a graduate of Lemon-Monroe High School where he played football. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and graduated from Miami University. Mr. Tomilson worked at AK Steel as a Customer Analyst for 32 years, retiring in March, 2009. He was a member of First Christian Church where he was a former member of the Building Committee and church elder. He also was a former member of the Middletown Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife whom he married on October 11, 1985, Debora L. Handy Tomilson; his mother, Katherine Kay Tomilson Raymond of Monroe; one brother, Ted and wife, Jennifer Tomilson of Lebanon, Ohio; one nephew, Scott Tomilson; two nieces, Rachel and Kayla Tomilson; and one uncle, Carless Whitt of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Tomilson, Jr.; his stepfather, Everett Raymond; five uncles, Earl, Bill, Dwight, and Ray Whitt, and Eugene Tomilson; one aunt, Joyce; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Father Terry Meehan officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
