It is with great sadness that Tammy Dawn Stafford passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 after a brief illness. Tammy was born in Middletown and spent her childhood in Miamisburg. In 1991 she moved to Germantown.
She is preceded in death by her father, Melvin Burggraf and her mother, Sharon Burggraf (Terrell), also her grandparents Fred and Beatrice Terrell.
Tammy is survived by her husband Tom Stafford and her daughter Lauren Stafford.
She also raised two step-children from a previous marriage, Michael Hurley and Jennifer Kelly (Hurley) that she considered our son and daughter. Tammy had one brother, Scott Burggraf, a sister-in-law Sarah Burggraf, three nephews, and two nieces. We would also like to mention our neighbor and Tammy’s best friend, Joyce Mockabee. Joyce helped Tammy through her hard times and became Lauren’s substitute grandmother. She considered Joyce a sister!
Tammy was a graduate of Miamisburg High School. She then worked at Delphi Safety plant in Vandalia for 13 years. She took a buy-out from Delphi and then attended Sinclair Community College where she earned an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. Shortly before graduating college, bother her mother and grandmother passed away in the same week. She then provided care for her father and grandfather until their passing. Tammy then took a course in real estate and earned her Realtor license. She interned at Keller Williams Realty and recently had moved to Nav-X Realty. Tammy was a devout Christian woman and a joy to everyone she met!
A visitation for Tammy will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home,1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
