Sherwin "Sonny" Hensley

Sherwin "Sonny" Hensley, age 70, a longtime resident of Carlisle, Ohio, died Saturday March 18, 2017. He was born in Tazewell, Tennessee on December 16, 1946 to Ralph and Myrtle Hensley. Sonny graduated from Springboro High School class of 1965. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Viet Nam War serving in Germany. He was owner and operator of Springboro Auto Body for 40 years and retired in 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hensley, step father, Sherman Rains. Sonny is survived by his former wife and longtime friend Molly Hensley; his three sons, Jeff (Tasha) Hensley, Jamie (Christi) Hensley, Robbie (April) Collins; mother Myrtle Rains; grandchildren, Hannah Collins, Abbie Collins, Kyndall Hensley; and sister, Patty Spurling. Funeral services are 7:30 pm Thursday March 23, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Mark Wolfinbarger officiating.
