Shane Kent Voegele, age 34, of Washington Township, died Tuesday February 11, 2020. Shane was born in Minot, ND to Kent Gordon and Marie Esther (Hoffman) Voegele. Shane was a graduate of Springboro High School class of 2004 and received his Associate Degree from Sinclair Collage in 2006. He was self-employed as an ASC Master Mechanic in diesel and combustion engines. The tornado last year hit his shop and destroyed the walls to the building, he continued working out of different locations using his vehicle and a former shop location. In 2014 he helped build a diesel truck that was awarded 1st place in the nation at Diesel Power Challenge in Denver, CO. Shane was preceded in death by his brother Don Voegele; his grandparents, Marcella Hoffman, Henry Hoffman, and Gordon Voegele. Shane is survived by his parents Kent and Marie Voegele; grandmother, Rose Voegele; cousins, Nichole and Alicia Meidinger, Nicholas and Tyler Voegele; aunts and uncles, Sandy (Kevin) Jensen, Karry (Michelle) Voegele, Kayla Perry and close friend Katherine Kasprzak . Funeral Services are 2pm Sunday February 16, 2020 at the Clearcreek Chapel 2738 Pennyroyal Rd Springboro, OH with Pastor Russ Kennedy and Elder Greg Simmons officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-6pm at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH. A Graveside Service will be 11am Monday at Springboro Cemetery 2338 Lower Springboro Rd Springboro, OH.
The family will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 1pm for private family time and 2pm for public viewing.
The funeral home staff will arrive at church on Sunday at 1pm with flowers and other donated items.
The family will arrive at the funeral home on Monday at 10am and leave in procession for the cemetery at 10:45am.
