Ronald Jr Jackson

Ronald Jr Jackson, age 88, of Franklin Ohio died Thursday November 21st at Carlisle Manor. He was born in Tazewell,Tennessee December 15, 1935 to Ben and Mattie Jackson. He moved to Ohio in his early 20s to seek better employment, also meeting the love of his life. Ronald worked for NCR, Logan Long, and retired from Franklin Boxboard.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Mattie Jackson. His brothers and sisters, Dorsey, Horace, Ada, Cleo, Don, Dave and Claude. Also, his loving wife of 58 years, Stella Jackson.

Jr is survived by his two children, Keith Jackson and Greg Jackson; his grandchildren, Greg Phillips, Chris Phillips, Shelby Jackson, Justin Scott and a special granddaughter, Andrea “Andi Shane” (Luke) Clifford; his great grandchildren, Riley and Lylah Rose.

Jr. was known for his wheeling and dealing around town. Parking all his “dandy” finds on Dixie Highway. Close friends and family often joke that if you own a trailer or a Ford Jubilee tractor, you most likely bought it from him.

Funeral Services are 1pm Tuesday November 26, 2024 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH with Pastor Andy Carney officiting. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
