Robert “Doug” Powell, age 65, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, May 10th, 2021. He was born February 29th, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to Robert and Jean Powell. Doug was a 1976 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School. He spent the last 35 years in the Cincinnati area. Doug was a career salesman and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Karen; son, Brad; mother, Jean Powell, sisters, Venus Roby and Debbie (Chris) Southwick; niece, Kay Hemmerly; and nephew, Michael Hemmerly.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Powell; and sisters, Debbie Powell and Connie Burington.
Family will receive guests on Monday, May 17th, 2021 from 10am-11am at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N Main Street, Springboro, OH 45066. The service will begin at 11am, followed by burial at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, OH.
