Robert Gene Perdue

Robert Gene Perdue, age 95, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Astoria Health and Rehabilitation Center in Germantown. He was born on September 3, 1928 in Vandalia, Ohio, the son of the late James William and Rosie Della Perdue. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Aletha S. (Eshbaugh) Perdue on January 4, 2016 and 6 siblings, Leroy, Halvey, Don, Stanley, Lucille, Wanda, and a son, Ralph Anderson.

Robert is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Valeska Perdue, of Camden, Dennis and Rhonda Perdue ,of Carlisle; a daughter-in-law, Lois Anderson; a foster daughter, Hiromi Suzuki, of New York; his sister, Letha; 4 grandchildren, Jacqueline (Bill Edwards) Perdue, Sarah (Joshua) Williams, Zachary (Katie) Perdue, Kaiser Hanes; 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson Perdue, Bradley and Evelyn Williams.

Robert was a retired painting contractor, who enjoyed woodworking and crappie fishing. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Anderson Funeral Home Life Celebration Center, 360 Commerce Center Drive, Franklin, Ohio. Robert's final resting place will be next to his wife in Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton, Ohio.
