Raymond Rice

Raymond Rice, age 72, of Middletown, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born September 30, 1940 in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of Granvil Rice and Mary Jane Womble Rice. He is survived by his wife, Linda McIntosh Rice; two daughters, Kathy Barger of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Patty Kenny Turner of Middletown; two sons, Steven Rice and Lynn Steven Sandlin both of Middletown; one stepdaughter, Debbie Sandlin of Middletown; two step sons, John Wayne Sandlin of Middletown, Pete Sandlin of Illinois; 28 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; four sisters, Cindy Fox, Geraldine Viars, Imogene Reynolds, Ruby Romine; one brother, Homer Rice; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sons, Ricky Rice, Raymond Jr. Rice, Paul Ray Sandlin; his parents; one sister, Kathy Sue Rice; and two brothers, Charles and Raleigh Rice. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
