Phyllis Virginia Vaughn, age 75, of Franklin, OH; went to be with her Lord and savior on Sunday September 27, 2020 at the Atrium Medical Center. Phyllis was born on June 4, 1945 to the late John C. and Bessie (Reed) Stewart. She was a member of the House of Prayer in Franklin, Ohio for over 40 years and a very dedicated Christian. Lucian and Phyllis Vaughn had their 59th wedding anniversary on September 9, 2020 at the Atrium Medical Center 3 rooms apart while in isolation. Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn “Mag” Miller; her brothers, Garnett “Sonny” Stewart, Lonnie “Slim” Stewart and Clarence Edward Stewart. She is survived by her husband Lucian Vaughn, daughters, Tammy (Doug) Emrick and Pamela (Russell) Adams; her grandchildren, Jennifer Carswell, Richie (Melissa) DeVotie, Zachary (Chelsey) DeVotie, Tiara Goddard and Tyler (Ellie) Goddard; Great grand children, J’ronnie Mcgraw, Ronnika Mcgraw, Brantley Mahan, Lane DeVotie, Charlee Goddard, and Sawyer DeVotie. her sisters, Novella Herald, Lola Jean Watson and Diane Mullins. Funeral services will be held at the House of Prayer with Pastor Roger Mullins in Franklin, Oh. Visitations 6-8pm Thursday October 1 2020 and funeral service October 2, 2020 at 1pm. She will laid to rest at Woodside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated.
