Phil Shepherd

Phil Shepherd, age 75, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Hospice of Butler Warren County. Phil was born in Middletown, OH on May 9, 1948 to the late Goble and Gracie (Combs) Shepherd.

Phil was formerly employed with AK Steel in maintenance for 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Shepherd in 2018; his granddaughter, Jerrica Shepherd and his brother, Anthony "Tony" Shepherd. Phil is survived by his children, Candy Thompson, Melissa Powell, Tammy Johnston, Vince Shepherd; his inherited daughter, Heidi Yeager; his grandchildren, Matthew (Tiffany) Disher, John Shepherd, Joshua Johnston, Kenny Shepherd, Kyle Johnston; his brother, Tim (Betty) Shepherd; his sisters, Della (Charlie) Tucker, Greta (Ron) McWhorter, Leatha (Mike) Chaney, Marsha (Kevin) Whitt; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Phil will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.

Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, OH 45066.
