Paul Edwin Lucas

Paul Edwin Lucas, age 88, of Franklin, Ohio, died Monday January 29, 2018 at Spring Hills of Middletown. He was born in Washington Court House, Ohio on April 21, 1929 to Clarence and Lucinda (Holmes) Lucas. Paul served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War, was a member of Russell McElfresh Post # 149 of the American Legion, AMVETS Post # 120, and was a Boy Scout Troop Leader #44 for over 20 years. He was employed with Sorg Paper for 45 years and retired in 1996 and was employed with Meijer's for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Franklin Lucas, mother, Lucinda Martha Lucas, loving wife Kate Lucas, sons, Paul David Lucas and Daniel Edwin Lucas, brothers, Harold Lucas, Ralph Lucas, James "Ken" Lucas, David Lucas, Robert Lucas, and sister, Margaret Walters. Paul is survived by his son, Dennis Patrick Lucas; two daughters, Paula (Gregory) Hahn, Patricia Lucas; grandchildren, Lucinda, Nicole, Christopher, Tabetha, Jessica, Katrina, Jacob, Jamie, Justin, Corey, Christian, and Cameron; 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Thursday February 1, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
