Paul B. Dowd

He is survived by his wife, Anne, of 60 years, his daughters, Dona (Mark) and Kathy (Andy), his grandchildren Megan, Emily, Katie, and Max. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces Anson Steve III, Karen, Ray, and Melanie. He was looking forward to the birth of his first great-grandchild.

He goes home to his parents, brother, Anson Steve II, sisters-in-law Lois Dowd and Carol Feck, and his niece, Ann Dowd Thornberry.

Paul loved working at Monsanto (Mound). He started in 1966 and worked there until it closed. After retirement, he continued to enjoy photography, travel, and playing the organ and piano with his wife for their church and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday September 23, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Anderson Funeral Home in Franklin, OH. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating. He will be laid to rest at David’s Cemetery in Kettering, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a contribution be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Dayton.
