Mary was born in Topeka, Kansas and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Comptometer operator. She was a mother, preschool teacher, fudge maker and an avid gardener and book reader. She was an excellent cook known especially for her blueberry banana pie and chocolate chip cookies. She loved jigsaw puzzles, word games, and crossword puzzles. She played a mean game of dominos and often won. She played cards, ping pong, and bowled in a league in her younger years.
Her ashes will be placed next to Roy's in Heber Springs Arkansas where she lived for 20 years.
Many thanks to the staff and director of Stoney Ridge Assisted Living and the staff and nurses of Crossroads Hospice for their dedication and care in Mary's final year.
