Mary was formerly of St. Amant, LA where she was very active in the St. Amant Baptist Church (Liberty Baptist Church) for 25 years. She moved to Franklin, OH and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springboro.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, one sister, Irene Ray (Patterson), and a nephew that she raised, Nicholas Bernal. Mary is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Bernal; her children David Brown and his wife, Debbie, Diane Brown, Michael Brown and his wife, Brenda, Karen Ricci and her husband, Leonard, Sonja Carpenter and her husband, Chris; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Springboro, 80 Greenwood Ln, Springboro, OH 45066, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rick Carr officiating.
Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
