MacKenzie Leanne Smith

She was a graduate of Springboro High School class of 2009, received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Phoenix University in 2014. The past year and a half she has been employed with McGohan Brabender as a benefits specialist and this position changed her life. MacKenzie had a passion for caring for her two boys, she loved animals especially her three dogs and two cats. MacKenzie was the brightest light when she entered the room and everyone loved her infectious laugh.

She is survived by her two boys, Beckett (7), Oakley (5); her parents, Todd and Denise (Pierce) Swope; her sister, Madison; her grandfather, Dr. Scott Swope; her grandmother, Linda Pierce; numeous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be 1pm Saturday April 6, 2024 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH with Pastor Sam Watson officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10am to 1pm at the funeral home.

MacKenzie was a Colorectal Cancer Survivor in 2020 and in lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to be made to The Colorectal Cancer Research.
