Linda Kay Parsons

Linda Parsons, age 63, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at her residence. Linda bravely battled cancer for four and a half years and never wavered in her faith during her fight. Linda was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 7, 1954 to the late Lawrence McKee and Helen Berkhouse.

Linda was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin for many years where she sang in the church choir and served on the Deaconess Board as the Treasurer. In her free time, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a friend to all who knew her. Linda is preceded in death by her son, Ross Parsons. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Gary Parsons; daughter, Jessica Kirk; son, Randall (Tammy) Parsons; grandchildren, Chance, Matthew, Ava Kay, Samuel, Brieanna, Shiann, and Aryell; sister, Mary (Steve) Ackerman of Clinton, MI; sister, Jewell (Keith) Smith of Germantown, OH; brother, Frank (Kimberlee) Bruce of West Carrollton, OH; sister, Alice Jane Williams of Franklin, OH; sister, Nancy Taylor of Springboro, OH; brother, Gary (Tammy) Berkhouse of Middletown, OH; step-father, Garland Berkhouse.

Funeral services are Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church Franklin, 16 West Second Franklin, Ohio. Burial in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the church.
