Leona Hounshell

Leona Hounshell, age 99 of Franklin, Ohio gained her angel wings on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 10:40 AM at Momentous Healthcare, Franklin, Ohio. Born in Stillwater, Kentucky on April 2, 1925 she was one of 14 children to the late Luther & Judy (Hollon) Coldiron. She was a member of the Roberts Dr. Pentecostal Church in Franklin, and in her free time she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and helping people any way she could. She had a heart of gold, and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Homer Arthur Disher; her second husband Roy Hounshell: a son in infancy Floyd Leroy; and her son Albert: grandson Otto Lee Disher: brothers Vernon, Cecil, Bill and Glenn: sisters Jane, Rosie, Ada, Maxine, Irene, Daisy , Gladys and Ruby: daughter-in-law Joyce Disher: son-in-law Roger Glenn.

Survived by her children Carol Glenn of Franklin; Lance Lee of Lebanon; Ronnie (Faye) Disher of Franklin: grandchildren Dawn Disher; Roger Lee Glenn, Jr.; Leona Glenn Hurley; Michelle Glenn Smallwood; Ronnie Disher, Jr.; Geneva McGuire; Albert Disher; Melissa Elliot; Lance Disher, Jr.; Homer Disher; AJ Disher: brother Felix Coldiron of Kentucky: as well as numerous great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Friday November 15, 2024 at the Roberts Dr. Pentecostal Church, Franklin, Ohio. Funeral service to be held at noon with Pastor Jimmy Jewell presiding. Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio.
