Leah May Wideman

Leah May Wideman, age 94 of Franklin, passed away Sunday evening at Spring Hills Assisted Living. She was born August 3, 1922 in Middletown, Ohio the daughter of Luther and Lilly (Knipe) Griest. Leah was a member of the First Christian Church in Middletown. Leah was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Marvin Edmund Wideman in 2008; her son, Danny Wideman in 1989; her parents; a brother, Howard Griest; and three sisters, Louanna Richardson, Margaret Nickell and Margie Cornwell. She is survived by her son, Marvin (Linda) Wideman II, of Cincinnati; two granddaughters, Michelle (husband, Keith) Snavely of Boulder, Colorado, Melissa Wideman of Cincinnati; four great grandchildren, Riley, Ben, Harper and Colin Snavely; and a brother in law, Ray Wideman. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Siegman officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
