Lawrence was a loving husband. He was a friend to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by father, Frank Hensley; mother, Rosa D. Hensley; wife, Donna Hensley; step son, Bill Malicote; two brothers, Eugene Hensley, Benny Hensley; sister, Edith Wilson. Survived by son, Gordon Hensley, three step-daughters, Barbara Lee, Kathy Barrett, Sandi Preston, brother, Darrell Hensley; sister, Violet Caskey; first wife Mary E. Hensley.
Lawrence served our country in the Air Force for four years. He then found a career as a steel worker for A.K. Steel. He retired in 1985 after thirty-four years there.
Funeral services are Friday August 18, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio 45005. Visitation will be Friday August 18, 2017 from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
