Laurie Watts

Age 54, of Middletown OH, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at her home. She was born November 6, 1966, in Middletown Ohio, the daughter of Robert Allen and Ruth Ann (Dennis) Shupert.

She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1985. She was active with the Carlisle Alumni Committee.

Laurie was the owner/operator of Blue Byrd Services for over 15 years. She previously was employed by Carlisle IGA. Laurie belonged to Towne Boulevard Church of God.

Laurie enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, antiquing, and caring for her many farm animals. She was an avid canner and gardener. Laurie enjoyed spending time with the ones she loved and making others laugh – she never met a stranger. She will be known for her humor, generosity, and caring nature.

Laurie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jack Watts; daughter, Sarah (Tyler) Curtis; son, Stephen Watts; mother, Ruth Ann Shupert; brother, Scott (April) Shupert; mother-in-law, Patricia Watts; brother-in-law, Ricky (Natalie) Watts; sister-in-law, Dana (Britt)Thacker; brother-in-law, Donnie (Carrie) Watts; brother-in-law, David (Anne) Watts; numerous nieces and nephews. Laurie is preceded in death by father, Robert Shupert; sister, Sharon Kathleen (Shupert) Richard; father-in-law, Llyod Watts; nephew, Brody Thacker.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St, Franklin, OH, with Pastor Mark Jackson officiating. Service will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
