Kim was known as a selfless person, she loved spending time with her friends, family, grandchildren, her dogs, and was known as a second mom to many in her life. She was an avid supporter of Franklin youth soccer, support both S.A.Y. and select teams. Kim loved the four C’s, cruising, cards, coffee, and the casino where she was known to play the penny slots. She was an avid paranormal investigator, and loved to watch shows such as Big Brother, and Survivor.
She was preceded by her father Jerry McGregor in 2021.
Kim is survived by her loving husband David Short; daughters, Jessica (Tim) Hale, Kelsie Short (Brett); step-son, Zachary Short; grandchildren, Aldin, and Braya Short; mother, Patricia McGregor; sister, Cindy (Tony) Briscoe; nieces, Ashley and Amber Briscoe, Lexi McGregor; best friends, Kim Helton, and Calvin (Treshele) Heller; mother and father in law, Paul (Carroll) Short; sister in law, Missy (Craig) Woods; as well as numerous family and friends.
There is no service scheduled at this time, later on there will be a celebration of life.
