Joyce Fay Horn

Joyce Fay Horn, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. She was born on July 6, 1939, in Oxford, Ohio, to Vernon Howard Peck and Ruby Lillian Martin. Joyce was a proud member of Hillcrest Baptist Church for nearly 50 years and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Ruby Peck, sister Virginia Ferguson (surviving husband Ron Ferguson), brother Alfred Peck, and her husband of 51 years, J.B. Horn.

She is survived by her son Joby (Nancy) Horn, granddaughter Stephanie (Chris) Werner, grandson Matt Horn and great-grandson Nick Werner.

She is also survived by her sister Patricia Francis; nieces Bethann, Judy, Rhonda, Tanya, and Sonya; nephews Mike and Rick; great-nieces Christa and Samantha; great-nephew Zach; and several other great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 820 Central Avenue, Carlisle, Ohio, with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating.
