Josephine Marie Grays

Josephine Marie Grays, age 91, of Franklin, Ohio, was called to her Heavenly home Tuesday September 1, 2015. She was born in Berea, Kentucky on July 4, 1924 to Elmer and Ida Kate (Poff) Parker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin and lifetime member Women's Auxiliary of the DAV in Franklin. Josephine was the last daughter of ten children and she was also preceded in death by her father, Elmer Parker, mother, Ida Kate Parker, husband, James E. Grays, son, William E. Grays, daughter, Phyllis Jean Sprague, brothers, Vernon Parker, Edward Parker, Jim Parker, Dean Parker, sisters, Peg Dushane, Molly Price, Lou Miller, Stella Powell. Josephine is survived by her two daughters, Patricia (Jerry) Gutridge, Karen Grays; two sons, Jim Grays, Tom Grays; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Herschel (Francis) Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Summit Family Physicians, and Crossroads Hospice. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Friday September 4, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Darren Parker officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
