Gerald Lewis Quillen, 56, of Franklin passed away November 2, 2023 after a short battle with Posterior Cortical Atrophy/Alzheimers. He was born November 5, 1966 to his parents Terry and Arlene (Swink) Quillen. He was preceded in death by his father Terry Quillen when he was very young. He was also preceded by his brothers Terry Quillen and Bobby Tussey; father-in-law Ron Bieller, and brother-in-laws Scott Bieller and Tim Bieller.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Kristi, children Jake Quillen, Karsen Quillen, Kelsi (Mike) Brunett, Zak (MacKenzie) Neace. Grandchildren Declan and Demi Brunett; parents Tom and Arlene Tussey, sister Teresa (Joe) Cross, brother-in-law Doug (Debbie) Bieller; multiple nieces and nephews.
Jerry, Jerr Bear, was known for being a skilled carpenter, jack of all trades. He was always willing to lend a hand to help others. He at one time owned his own construction company. He was a 1985 graduate of Franklin High School before joining the Army National Guard for 6 years. He coached Junior High wrestling and loved coaching his kids in their sports. He was a Michigan Wolverines and Cincinnati Bengals fan. Jerry was the life of the party, always good for a laugh or prank. He was a devoted family man that loved his family dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
